Where .dk websites are hosted, read from each domain's www CNAME: website builders, e-commerce platforms, CDNs. Also the dangling CNAMEs that point at names which no longer exist (subdomain-takeover risk), and wildcard zones. Data comes from our own scanners, which re-resolve every .dk domain in the zone roughly once a week.
Based on 117,370 domains probed so far (9.0% of the zone). A domain's probe is refreshed with every full scan, and otherwise roughly every 30–35 days, so while the first pass is still filling in the numbers can shift.
23,485 probed domains (20.0%) point www at another host with a CNAME. 180 of those CNAMEs lead to a name that no longer exists: a possible subdomain-takeover risk: if the missing name can be claimed (an unregistered domain, or a free name on a hosting platform), whoever claims it controls the site. Some are simply typos inside the owner's own zone, which nobody else can claim. 43,284 zones (36.9%) are wildcards, where any name you make up resolves.
